Waseem Goreja founded Amazing Herbs after growing up in the U.S. and hearing stories about the remarkable black cumin seed (Nigella sativa). Black Seed and the oil derived from it, are staples in his family’s homeland of Pakistan. Known for supporting immunity and overall health. Recognizing its health benefits, Waseem decided to introduce Black Seed to health-conscious consumers in the U.S.
In 1990, Waseem and his father began producing and marketing black seed supplements. At the time, black seed was relatively unknown in the U.S., so Waseem took on the challenge of educating both consumers and health food store owners about its powerful properties.
In the early 2000s, Waseem launched AmazingHerbs.com to make their products more accessible to consumers worldwide. At the same time, growing interest in black seed in the U.S. allowed Amazing Herbs to expand into more retail stores. By 2010, Amazing Herbs’ black seed supplements were available in over 6,000 retail stores across the U.S., with more than 30,000 customers benefiting from the product. Today, Amazing Herbs continues to thrive as a women-owned business, led by Waseem’s wife and his daughters. Together, they remain committed to carrying forward Waseem’s legacy by providing premium black seed supplements to a growing global community while continuing to educate consumers about its amazing benefits.

Amazing Herbs manufactures all its Black Seed Oil in an FDA-registered and inspected, state-of-the-art facility in Buford, GA. We use specialized screw-type presses to gently cold-press the oil from black seeds, preserving its naturally occurring antioxidants and nutrients.
